The people are hungry and cold . . . winter continues wrapping its icy tentacles around the Earth Mother . . . firmly rooted to the earth which holds life’s power and energy, she makes her offering of cornmeal to Great Spirit . . . her power animal, Golden Eagle, joins her as the Universe accepts her offering within a whirlwind of power and energy.
